Suya (pronounced soo-ya) is a Nigerian snack food. It is prepared by grilling thinly sliced skewered meat (usually beef) that is seasoned with a special spicy peanut rub. The meat is then served with freshly chopped onions and tomatoes. The onions render extra flavor while the tomatoes to cool down the palette.
